They should also report on the good that is happening at least. The new schools, new hospitals, new roads, new infrastructure. They should report to America the good, not just the tally of American died. So people living in America will remember why our people died and it wasn't just for oil.

They should, but they won't. Ratings is all they care about. As for the good, you'll see it sometimes on mostly AFN (armed forces network).

Yes!!! WW3... Being in the military has taught me how it continuosly makes the same mnistake. War kicks off, the do a mass recruitment. Then as was dies down, they do a mass exodus. Eventually they are going to burn so many bridges that people are not going to join unless they are forced.

The military has a weight requirement, its waived in the time of war, but soon as that war is over you know what happens to those people?

Wars are fought for reason, the current Iraq and Afghan wars people might not remember that Congress approved both wars with over 90% in both houses of Congress. The alphabet networks doesn't even report on Iraq and Afghanistan anymore since Obama became elected. But America will now have permanent bases in both countries and have secured the 2nd largest oil fields in the world in Iraq. The oil might or might not be for America, but the supply for the world will be secure. Or should we have Russia or China have influence there instead of us?

Ive used this exact argument on so many ignorant people. Thank you for bringing it up.

Nope, Canada will be on the side of U.S. Best place to move to is Switzerland but they have mandatory military service, I think for Woman also. Switzerland is the most armed nation in the world. When they are done serving their country, they get to keep all equipments(rifle, pistol, and uniform). Every single Swiss citizen is trained and armed for war.

I have served and would again but honestly doubt a draft would be wanted or needed without unforseeable events occuring first.
