well these could be boys,pretty sure of one thing...they are the same sexi just do not want them to stress too much..thats how you run into HITH etc.. but yours sound like they are doing fine....

Well mine ended up having HITH (I think it had more to do with the crowded space) but it's subsided to point where it's not progressing anymore. They still have their scars but I'm going to try to fix that by getting them some Fish Zole. I have the same conclusion to mine as well, they are the same sex b/c I would've noticed eggs by now!

let me know how the med does with clearing up the holes..i have an old jag that battles it ..he is fine too except you can still see the marks... yes no eggs here either...

Hope they settle down. My two kept doing the same thing. Lip locking, pit digging, rock clearing, chasing everyone else away. Then they would go to the other end and start over. One day the albino tore the tiger apart.

omg.... these don't seem to be getting that nasty,... they are eating well and swimming.. that is horrible to think they would be capable of doing that..i will really watch them

Holy COW! Man, I wish I knew what happened to my 3rd oscar that I had. I had a red oscar and the albino and the tiger were there first so they would gang up on him when he was smaller than them but as soon as he got to their size (which was quite FAST) he started to terrorize them. And then one day while I was on vacation for 2 weeks (I had a neighbor feed them) he ended up dead. I tried to see how it happened, but his body was decomposed so badly (my neighbor only keeps small barbs and tinfoils... so he didn't know what to do with the body) I couldn't tell what it was.

Thats sad that you lost yours too....
