Will this cichlid community idea work in a 55 gal?

I got a b in maths as well haha and my eel got ****ed by my dwarf snakehead it then went for my Senegal Bichir but fortuanly my angel stepped in and got the snake head back so I took it back to the shop and they looked after it for me until the first tank arrived I then cycle it for about 2 months then added the dwarf snakehead in there. Anything else you don't understand?

T taylor the beast - if you knew what I had in my 55g grow-out you'd give me a good stern scolding lol. If you have 220g, just put what you want in the 55g and when something gets too big or dominant, move it up with the heavy-hitters.

yes I know I hate English In the 220 I have got a Oscar and 2 giant gouramis and 10 silver dollars in there just afraid that if I added the small cichlids that I mentioned ...that it would just become an expensive meal?
 
Your cichlid mix seems fine, the bichir doesnt fit in but I don't know how big it is. Might be ok for now, if not put it in ur 220 like u said. The firemouth should be ok. It may get aggressive later, but they are wimps at least when smaller.

nah,just make sure its much bigger than the Oscar's mouth

Are you sure the pearl cichlid isn't going to get to big and atm the sengal bichir is 5 inches
