From the pics alone he doesn't seem to be that bad off. I would try the above mentioned methods to minimize infection.

the RD is about a half inch bigger. i don't think it'll be around much longer my friend is on a search to buy another fish to kill the devil. I told him to keep the dovii and bring me the RD and throw it in the tank with my jardini but instead i get to take care of a torn up dovii

LOL my jardini was a RD destroyer!!! how big's ya jar? trust me dude medicate the water using melafix, pimafix, salt and regualr water changes and u've got urself an awesome cichlid! i'd use more pimafix! that stuff is friggin incredible!! cures the fish from the inside out!

how large is the tank?

he had them in a 90 gallon. then the 90 broke and he got some stupid corner tank after i told him he's gonna have problems because the fish won't have enough territory. he didn't listen and this is what happened in addition to a dead jag.

how many fish did have in the 90 gal?, by the sounds of the dovii, rd, and the jag, he should be useing 240+ gallons, inexperenced fish keeping at it's best i guess.

dont stress her out, give it good water condition and good oxygen. you should be fine
