I feel like a chicken with my head cut off, preparing new house, fish room, new 300 tank and filtering my 225, lol Will the above heat my fish room, fish room is 24 ft long by 13 wide, 8 ft tall ceilings. thing it is close 250 sq ft. I chopped it down a a bit. I figured Id still keep heater in tank and sit them a little low just in case this failed at some point. I know I have asked before but still mulling, also I will have a gold fish tank will the heated room will be to much? also having sprayed insulation in this room and heat/air ran in but will probably be cut off to the room unless needed.

think i would just go with a oil heater, there cheep and should not have a problem keeping a room that small heated.

How about this?

Read the reviews for some good tips. FYI, light this outside for the first burn to bur off paint/manufacturing residual odor. I heat mainly with wood pellets, during the winter, up here in NH, so I have bit of an idea about heating with fire. Only caution about using wood stove is keep young children and "stupid" four-legged pets away

Are you against putting a smaller ceiling mounted electric heater in the room. No vent needed. Depending on the amount of BTU you need their are some 110 or 220 versions available that do not take up much space. Easy to wire into an existing fuse box if you have one nearby. You can also connect it to a thermostat for better heat control as an option. If you are I will try and dig up a link to the one I have been running in my garage for almost a decade with zero issues.

Not sure about the over head unit, have read a few positive reviews on the danby, there is 2x people that I know that use them, both said they timed them on for 3 hours, off for 1. I kinda want a plug in play type thing,
