I know that they're faders 100 percent I just wonder if they're going to fade later in life If you get fry from a good batch of faters what's the percentage where you going to get later life fading

Are you sure these are Red Texas and not Herichthys carpintis. Faders usually display signs of it very early. I've never seen a fader be normal then all of a sudden fade. It's usually they are showing signs of fading at a young age and then completely fade.

Not a fader

Why would you think they're not fading fish I have 1 out of a batch of 4 that has faded 99.9% that why I was asking if they should fade later in life? First time with fish that change or fade like this. Has any one had a fading fish change later than normal? Sorry if this is a rookie question new to hybrid's. but thanks for the help and all help is welcome :)

there's a possiblity.. But I think it will get rusty base which will look better than faders imo.. But that's definitely not a pure/regular texas. I think it is a red texas project fry.. Good one
