Lucky you, I absolutely love the kinks. Would love to of seen them. I wasn't even born when they were in their prime.

I never really listened to the Kinks, but I grew up on 70's/80's rock, and I always loved Van Halen's version of You Really Got Me. That version is so ingrained in my head that I can't listen to the original now. I like All Day and All of the Night though.

Cool. I'll check them out. I've only ever heard two of their songs. They were before my time and weren't popular over here by the time I was getting into music.

Absolutely. They have done loads of good stuff. Have you heard a track called Walter? I only heard this one recently and love it.

I bet you know more of their songs than you realise. I bet if you played their greatest hits lots of their songs would be familiar.
