Will this work?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I’m setting up a planted tank and going low maintenance. Java fern, anubias, Amazon sword, Val, aponogenten, hornwort.

Kribs would fight back against most attacks. Get a pair and you’ll have more than you know what to do with.

A few would. Kribs are very good parents. Mine killed a rainbow shark to protect them. Claimed half of a 60. As long as something avoids them they won’t attack. At one point I had about 50 in the tank, that number has slowly gone down over a year to about 10-15 including the kribs. They don’t breed much anymore because there are too many. I’m not sure where they go but the crayfish probably had something to do with it.
The predators would take the small guys but anything above 2 inches should be good. Most of those fish can take on an aggressive krib and vice versa. Bichir may eat them if there isn’t enough hiding spots.

To get the bush fish on prepared I would do the old “starve it until he eats” method.
