Wish me luck

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
LOL, I bet the are all thinking WHOA....we can move, but aren't sure what to do at the same time!

Well, it looks as though some are starting to explore a bit...that little (HA! "little") cat sure seems to be having a good time! OMG, that Pleco he's HUGE!

Ya that little cat is only 4" he keeps going round and round the entire pool while his buddy (6") just stays by the filter outlet. The pleco is kinda big, 11-12". As for the rest of the stock

twin 10" tinfoils
1 8-9" tinfoil
10-12inch commet
8-9" common
3.5" common
5" bala
twin 3" bala
and my fancies range from 6-8" head to tail.

they are exploring more now, pleco still hasnt found his house in the middle. Also got another 200 watt heater. Perhaps next week Ill get the quite one 6000 and plumb it all in, this cascade 1000 with 140gallons of water isnt doing a good job ;)

Really...the pleco is only around 12" (well, thats not little)...but in that video he looks like he is monstrous!

Ya he looks big until the tinfoils swim by, then he looks like a baby. I hope all this room with give him a growth spurt, I want a 18-24" pleco!

Just purchased a quiet one 6000 for 97$ shipped on ebay. Now what to do for the mechanical filtration. Ocean clears bead filter looks good but $150 is iffy to me. I could make my own canister but I dunno. Looks like next weekend Ill have yet ANOTHER project. I also added my powerhead to the pool. 300gph fish are feeling more at home now with the added current.

so has it burst yet?

Dont stress itz...I loved mine! I just topped the air up about once a week. They can lose a lot of air before any water spills cause the water holds the plastic tight. I was supprised when mine popped, had time to pump the lot out the window, not a drop on the carpet. You'll end up keeping it once you see how much more happy your fish are! I felt like such a b*****d squeezing my fish back in a tank that I ended up building an indoor pond. Much cheaper bigger and alround cooler for the fish, especially if you put in a window. My hyper aggressive cons wouldn't live with ANYTHING including each other, now they are pretty chilled, even the breeding pairs. Just dont let your dog near it, or your ferret!

lol, cool. Looks like they have tons of room to swim around. :D Damn, too bad my parents are always hard cases about me wanting to set up any sort of pool for my fish during the summer, lol.
