One reason I like the 'common' plecs like those is they are hardy and easy to care for. Good food and good water and they thrive.
I just took this group shot, 3 of the 4 plecs in my 50gal tank. It has plenty of caves and logs, but for some reason this small one under the filter is the favourite, even if the big fella cant fit in it. The others just queue up
But this bunch seem to live together fairly peacefully.
