Ha yea I definately know this 75 isnt for life, just going to hold me down for now. And thanks channa for all your info , this dude knows his sh%t lol also seven I read alot of your posts. So I figured the more hiding places the better right, but I was just reading on another threat that its better to keep it open if there is 3 , because there will be less fighting over territory. IMO it would be better with hiding places like my pics, what do you guys think.

funny as I was typing this the ups guy came , my wolf pack is here!!!! SO HYPED.

damn sounds good...i woulda bn hyped about that to. i havent ever heard of keeping the tank open for 3. wolf fish like cover and are ambush predators, so they like to lay in wait for their prey and some will slowly follow it around and strike so fast....they rarely ever miss. if each has its own space to lay and chill and retreat when some aggression arises, they are much less likely to get injured, whereas if the tank is open the weaker of the three wont get away and have a place to hide. good luck with them, and give us more of an update if you're on later tonight.

when they are small i def. think they will hang around each other, but as they get older and grow in size, some kind of hierarchy will come about....PICS....PICS....PICS.....:nilly::nilly::nilly:

Hey, snapped a few pics tonight, sorry if the water is a little cloudy i was sturring the sand up a little before I cleaned it and saw some good ops for a pic.

thats 2 of them the 3rd guy was hiding on the other side of the tank. And thanks to Fish Room Plus for hooking me up with them.

Nice , you have your own pack started! Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to keep several in one tank? Now get those wolves fattened up!!!! I love seeing pics of large wolf fish!

DAMN....lookin good bro.....its something about black sand and wolves....doesnt get any better than that. those guys look amazing...the one on the left looks quite a bit larger than the one on the right. how big is the third one compared to these two. nice pack, have they eaten yet or what....details.....lol....:nilly::nilly::nilly:

thanks man, yea I always had a thing for black sand, the pic is of the biggest and the smallest the 3rd one is inbetween. As for feeding , the night I put them in I threw in a few little guppies I had just to see if they would eat right away and they chomped them right up. so today I cut up some market tilapia not expecting them to go for that right away and they tore that right up. I just gotta give them some time to get comfortable with the tank because they look alittle hessitant and scared. Im sure getting bounced around buy UPS while they were being shipped didnt help. lol

thas whas up...good to hear....nothing wrong with feeders, as long as they are safe and healthy. its easier to get them on dead foods which u already did, so good luck to ya, and keep us posted on their growth....yeah they will need time to get used to the tank...but u seem to be doing the right thing....good luck and keep us posted for sure......best of luck.......
