when they are small i def. think they will hang around each other, but as they get older and grow in size, some kind of hierarchy will come about....PICS....PICS....PICS.....:nilly::nilly::nilly:

ive seen the bigger guys,at over 16 inches,do it too.
there used to be a shop which brought in all sorts of cool stuff from azul to channa diplo to rare wolves.they even brought in a aimara once ive heard.
but they closed down.:(:(:(

Wolffish are one of the easier fish to lean off live........

My 2-3 inch wolf ate pellets straight from the LFS . I can just drop sinking pellets in and it will hunt them all down or toss them in one at a time and watch it gobble them before they hit the sand if it sees them.

Rarity and price aside, housing is the major concern, at least for me, in getting this fish! You will need HUGE tank. I'd hate to have one in a pond or pool type set-up because i like to be able to observe my fish from various angles not a top down view. Plus if you were to accidentally fall into the pond....:WHOA:

Yeah, wolves are the greediest fish I've ever owned. Is there anything they won't eat?

:ROFL:a 8 x 4 should do for a long time if not life IMO.
plus ive heard that aimara are slow growers compared to other wolves.

ive had a mala that took carrots.
and my last batch ate algae wafers.

Def....agree i would much rather have my fish in a large aquarium where I could actually observe it....its nothing wrong with ponds, i just dont feel like i can really appreciate the fish like i could if the aquarium is right there in my house and i cn see all of the fishes movements and how it acts in its own environment. Ponds are nice and all but for an aimara i def. would rather have it in an aquarium.
