some one told me it would help if I had Floating plants and dimmed lighting in my wolf tank, I did fined the brighter the lights the more they wanted cover. just run with what you have at the moment and see how you do if you are getting theses fish off of some one you know and he has grown them on he is obviously doing something right so look at what he has got and his set up but looking forward to seeing pictures.

cheers stotty, only real worry i have is the price i have been told by rumblesushi that i am paying way to much for 13" wolves, i am paying £90 each, do think this is to much? i have phined wild woods they sold last batch of red wolves at £19.99 they were 5 inch.

$35!!!! damn i think im being robbed, do wolfs tend to be alot cheaper in america?

I would assume they're less in the americas since that's their origin.

Yeah wolves for some reason are less. Aros and some characins are more or less the same, but for some reason wolves are usually more in the UK.

Even so, it's simply too much. Like stotty just said, his was over 12" and sold for £30.

I think they should be no more than £40 each. Can you haggle them down?

Yeah even that is a stretch.

I think the people are just trying it on with you man, in England a wolf is not a common fish, and thus these people are probably not total beginners, and hence - they probably know £90 is way over the market value of a 1 foot mal.

Finding one at a foot is probably not that easy, certainly when they are imported they're more likely to be half that size, and foot longers are usually going to come from private sellers. So the chances of you finding 1 or more foot long mals in the very near future are slim, so if you really want these fish just haggle.

I've done it plenty of times. Simply say that's over the market value of these fish, who else is gonna buy them at that price?

I had trouble selling my 10 inch mal. They are cool fish, but not many people want an inactive fish that should really be kept alone.

That’s spot on as I said the nastiest / inactive fish I have ever owned.
