I just lost my wolf who jumped out of the only freekin hole on top no bigger than himself. I put him in a 33L gal temp. while getting rdy to xfer him........ He was doing the same thing. I think he felt freekin closterphobic(spelling)... I feel freekin horrible. This is the 2nd wolf I lost do to jumping. The first one I had awhile back was huge!!!!! He died when a cheap heater shorted out (lesson learned)

Is there anything dangling above the tank? Maybe wipe down the top of the tank. Maybe it sees something it wants to eat.
that was the first thing i checked for but nope, if he keeps doing this what should i do, hes doing it like every 5-10 mins and hes done some pretty bad damage to itself

wow sorry

For now...just lower the water level. Can you hear it as it hits the top of the tank? Maybe cover the tank with a blanket for now and see if you can still hear it jumping.

i lowered the water but this guy jumps high and yeah i can here a bang sound all the time but hes actually stop in the past hour, but hes pretty bang up hopefully he pulls through

put water to half level. Cut some black plastic strip and tie at the end and put inside. Or put some plant or cave..maybe if got their own home it will not jump...

i spoke to soon he just bang itself again, i actually got a piece of driftwood and he hides underneath it but then he will just come out and bang itselft and go back in

I meant to put a blanket over it to maybe calm it down. How big is the tank?

maybe a tankmate issue?
or he doesnt like the tank?
like i said, sometimes they actually do it for no apparent reason.
he will be fine as long as he doenst get out.
but he'll be pretty beaten up is all.
is he eating fine?

Mine did that after I first got him.. I almost think he was just testing the lid for an escape route. He quit after a week or two and hasn't done it since.

i dont have any new ideas other then the covering the tank and turning the lights out for a few days....maybe he just needs to get used to it...sorry to hear though i would be freaking out...
