wolf fish

u should have no prolblems whatsoever with a piranha in with your wolf. i had a dorado in with my wolf and my dorado beat the tar out of him and the wolf just sat there like a rock. not a very fun fish imo. but i dont think he will go after the p and i know the p wont go after him. if u have the room then a large pike would also be nice in that tank. but i would be more worried about a pike killing the p then the wolf

Very simple alternative to live food is shrimp you buy in grocery store. I buy a 2 pound bag on sale. Take what I need out of bag. Defrost for a few minutes in hot tap water, in a cup. Pull the shell off and my wolf LOVES em'. Sometimes I stick one an a small thin stick and feed him, he even bites stick. Most live feeders are kept in such poor condtions, that disease can easily spread to your fish, so I feel it's best to feed alternatives, and so much easier, no separate tank for feeders, no regular trips to store. By dumping in massive feeders once a month, you are just gut loading fish, and he will ingest and pass all the nutrition right away.

There's no way in hell that you should put P's with your wolf. It would be a great waste of nice fish either way. The only thing you should put with P's is maybe exo's or feeders. Unless you like to have fish with bites out of them, don't do it.

Thanks for the advice on the alternative to feeders.I'll try the shrimp this week.Hope after feeding him live food for so long, the wolf adapt to the change.

Cut up some fillets after fishing. I fed this to my silver aro and he grew from 4" to 14" in 6 months!!!! Give it a try!

i've had piranhas and wolf fish together several times with success. you just have to make sure the wolf is larger but not large enough to eat the p
