The Black/curupira will probably get 15" - 16" but has the potencial to get huge 30". I have two, One is very shy and hides away only coming out to get food. The other is much more outgoing. There is a picture of it in the Wolf picture thread coming at me with his mouth open. So it varies depending on personality. The shyer one of my two is much more aggresive, I did once try to put it with a large Cat and it relentlessly attacked it. They are in the Lacerdae group. Thought for sure those are called Hoplias Malabaricus
