We aren't talking vaca for the swimmer though ....she could get around the laws...as far as tourism.... I would bet that exeptions are made... we even have a marine base there...gitmo

Yea I was just talking in general. She would have had to take a private boat to the shore and just start swimming lol

Gitmo has always interested me as well..We have a policy in place to pretty much starve a country yet we occupy a part of said country.
 
I'm sure to get there she just flew to somewhere like Mexico first, and then flew to Cuba. To get around the whole money issue, maybe she was loaned some by local supporters?

that has to do more with cold war SOVIET POLITICS....they used that base in the 80's to keep an eye on the russians
