interesting post, I plan on trying a nano reef as well, im looking at using lots of live rock and live sand, maybe some anemones and coral after the waters stabilized and a clownfish, maybe a few others if possible. Im interested to hear how yours works out!
 
Woo I bought a fox coral I forgot to update but now I have had it for a while. It was a two head but now its three! Woo! I know its not from stress I checked my water quality today and it just started splitting this morning. Woo yay! I'm just glad its not splitting from stress. Ill take a couple of photos at different times to see it splitting.
 
you can't keep clown fish in such a small tank, they are territorial, and they will kill eachother if they are different types of clowns
