woot my brokopondo came today

heres pic of my other cichla. think people said it was a mono. i duno . These are my first cichla.

yup....huge size difference. WHat is the temp in the broko tank? Does he have any other fish to hang w/ to feel more comfortable?

Its right around 80. What therm says 82 other says its 78. so ima say 80. . I got him in my little fluval 6 gallon till tomorow when i setup the 75gallon

yes i no its to small. But beings i wasnt here to see the fish when deliverd exc. i didnt want my girl throwing it in the big tank and geting its arse kicked. It just gave me motivation to finaly set the 75 up. wich i been wanting needing to do. HEs alone in the tank except for two feeders.

I striped it of all decor last week. to set it back up. thats why in pic with the broko its bare right now. Own my own buissness . im a single dad of a 16 year old son . Whos starting to go girl crazy. I got a dog. And a fish obsession . Lifes a bit of a struggle. But im pulling it together. Got custody in september. Three years ago i was homeless staying with friends and sleeping in my truck. So i think im doing pretty good for my self. Had to finaly grow up!

Is that a corner L shaped tank or is the trim showing just an optical illusion kinda trippy looking lol

No wonder who got those brokos before i cud >:-(.....jk....nice pickup!!!! Glad u got em saved me from spending 90 bucks.....make sure the 75 has seeded media. The brokos are more sensitive to water parameters than others from experience w my little guy from wes

SOunds like your doing quite well now. COngrats! As far as temp for the broko id try and slowly bump it up to 86-87.
