woot my brokopondo came today

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The setup my mono salvini exc are in is 6 and a half foot long. 7 foot tall like 23 inchs front to back. has a waterfall in it thats the rock obeject middle left of pic.The tank actualy has two difrent depths in it if u look at the pics the right side is twice as deep as the left . My house is to small to be able to view the whole thing . Had to put my couch against it. It has three halogen flood lamps and a two tube fluorescent light that i rarely plug in. My local lfs finaly got my Brown basalik lizard i orderd for my son I got to go pick that up tomorow. Im wanting hopeing it can live in the habitat with the fish exc. The tank curently has three jags that belong to a friend . Three salvini two female one male. One mono cichla. and a 20 inch wal lungfish. I beleve its a wal it belongs to my friend who owns the jags. Once he sets his tanks back up hes takeing the jags. But hes geting the lungfish this week. Im running a ehiem 2215, a jaebo ehiem knock off 4 backet canister, a xp3, and four powerheads with sponges on them. Think i have enuf filtration ? Also how benifical do you all think the waterfall is in the whol filtration process i have two of the canisters return hose spraying on it.

o and a largemouth bass

filtration sounds good. Pretty cool set up. Hope the baslisk works in there for ya cause thatd be cool. WOuld a water dragon lizard work in there?

I gave my son the choice water dragon or basalik lizard he liked the basalik better,. He wanted a green basalik. But the lfs was only able to order me a brown one for him.

looks pretty sweet, definitely keep your new cichla in warm waters with lots and lots of airation. I'd also consider adding cover in the form of plants (live or fake your choice) in the 75. Good luck with it, hope it does well for you, they're a great looking fish!

Thanks for compliments and sugestions everyone. Hopefullly this afternoon. i can get the 75 gal in my house and start working on geting it set up. Today. Woot i threw some guppys in with the broko. Just got to see him eat. Now i feal tons better. Hes gonna be fine i beleve. Some of his stressed marking have started to fade also.

Considering this is the most i had ever payed for a fish. and then with the shiping. i was realy worried. bout anything and everything that could go wrong. I tried pellets. dried krill he didnt tuch them. the goldfish feeders were to big seen him chase them last night. but the guppys were just right ;)
