Hey zoo york, what kind of box turtles do you breed? Right now all I have are two female Eastern Box Turtles, but I used to have a breeding trio of 3 toed and a pair of Gulf Coast box turtles.

I have Eastern Box.

Sweet. I need to catch a new male for my 2 females. My last male escaped. I'm building them a cage at my new house. I'm probably going to go 12' x 12' and maybe put a small shallow pond for them too.

He meant Ultraviolet B light.

Some herps need it to utilitize calcuim, others don't.

Oh yeah, Its not going to need it right at this instant, but I would take it outside for a little bit each day until you gtet it so it still gets some rays.
