I have recently changed my stance on killing animals. Of course mine would only be in a life or death situation.
I still dont believe it even the pics in the website that trust psoted looked as if they were standing farther back in the pics and not right next to it.....
check out the size of the kid compared to the size of the bore in these two pics..
something just seems..off
in the first pic, the bore seems to dwarf the kid, second pic the kid looks bigger, and the bore is not so enormous
compare both pictures from the bore's back, maily where the kid is standing in the first picture..in pic one..the bore seems like it would be able to swallow the kid whole, second pic...not so much. and in the second pic, the kid and his father are further back, if they where standing right up close with the bore and the nose was touching the ground..it would seem a little more ..realistic

I think your on to something. The boar hanging if layed down looks like it's thickness would come to the kids waistline maybe and that's it.
Someone take that hanging picture, cutout the hog in photoshop and rotate it and stick it under the kid in the same pic.

I have to agree with you guys when comparing the two pics. Just the mere fact that they measured from the hogs outstretched leg would give it another 1' in length.

There is also the mere fact that pictures on occasion are deceiving without any photoshopping done. When I am photographing my tanks sometimes and I noticed this last night in one shot my Tigrinus looked like he was about 4-5" compared to the other fish when in fact he is about 16" Certain angles, depth perception etc.. I'm not saying this is the case in this example but I feel like any time any picture pops up that looks unreal everyone is too quick to jump on the photoshop bandwagon.
Every picture taken on that website has the people well behind the pig.While a very large boar at that.Every possible effort has been taken to make it look larger than it is with simple photography skills.If it was true ,in this day and age .Every effort would have been made to prove it,including high-res pictures.The only pic that doesn't give that perception is the one with the tractor.Size is so much different it looks like 2 different boars.
