Will watch eventually but looks too high budget and computery, would have prefered a grindhouse or zombie approach to the cinematography.

Nah...the title itself has a bit of a big budget or larger than life sound to it..A Grindhouse style would seem beneath it.

I actually think I want to see the movie before I get around to reading the book, but they both look entertaining in their own way.

And there were a ton of changes between TWD comics and the show but they're still both good. Some of the main characters in the show never actually existed.

I'm not a book reader so I don't care about the book. I'll watch the movie someday. Too broke to pay to see it.

Seems that way, I've notice others shows/movies do that just to stay in the PC guidelines
