World War Z

I think this movie should be pretty awesome. Don't always have to compare books to movies, they're totally different art forms.

Hopefully it will be as good as my favorite zombie movie, 28 days later...

28 Days Later is one of the best.

I doubt there's any way possible that the movie could approach the book in scope, imagination or quality of story; but with movies based on books that's not unusual.

The book, as mentioned earlier, follows an interviewer talking to survivors of the zombie war. This movie looks like its going to tell the story of one of the people who will be interviewed later.

The immense swarms that are shown in the commercials were absolutely vital in the book, btw.

In my mind, WWZ (the book) and TWD could very easily exist in the same universe. There's a surprising consistency there.

The book to me is a classic and when i heard a few years back they were adapting it to a movie I cringed. I hate zombie movies and I was pumped at first to see the movie until I read the premise for the first time and everything went out the window.

The trailer I have seen have not made me want to see it and I agree with a previous poster and this should of been an HBO mini series so they could of stayed true to the book. There are so many other stories I think they will cut out that made the book what it was.
