Everything I can find about them says they are almost extinct, and closley related to wild dogs, but not actually wild. They do look like wild dogs to me,but nicer looking. I think this guy is adorable.

They are pretty cool looking. i would take one. let's be honest, all of us know dog owners (if not own them youself) but how many people have you met with one of these?

How can you mistreat that many dogs, and only get a $1,100 fine? :irked:
Too many assumptions made in this thread. How do you know he was mistreating them?? He only failed to vaccinate them against rabies. The article fails to mention their condition nor their housing. Could be just a guy that loves his dogs. How many fish keepers here could be accused of the same?

Because I read the article. What in there, the article, states he was properly keeping them? And if you search, you will find more information saying they were being mistreated.

Not vaccinating them is not treating them properly. Having 85 dogs alone,is not keeping them properly, and mistreating them. Look at the pictures that were attached to this article. They were not kept in proper conditions.

I assumed nothing. I read the article, looked at the pictures, did some research of my own,and made a rational statement.

the article i just read about all the organizations that were called in to help (this was called in on halloween)....most of them are going to zoos and wild life reservation since apparently they aren't very domesticated and don't socialize with human well unless they're young. odd, considering they have puppies and any patient dog owner should be able to break them in.
