Sure thing! Del is still shy so hard to get a good pic to show his size but here's my sen (albino) and palmas cuddling and a size comparison next to my pinky hahaView attachment 1295859 View attachment 1295860 View attachment 1295861
Yeah, he's shy around me but he perks right up the second he smells something in the water lolProbably best to play it safe but i think you may be fine. Is the del eating ?
Absolutely agree. My moke was 2-3x larger than my del and sen; She was a complete b**** because she thought she ruled the tank. Would strongly suggest letting the little ones establish dominance and get some size in the main tank. The del will be fine in a separate tank for a whole. Then introduce them when they are similar sizes. This Creates less headaches down the road.yes keep the palmas and sen in the 20 since that is the tank you plan to grow them out in. That way the bigger bichir won't have an established territory when they are put together
Post a pic. As long as it’s eating and water quality is good then should clear up. Sometimes itll need separation to allow healing if nipping continues.Hey, not sure if anyone is still following this thread but I'm a little worried about another problem with my two little ones. My albino senegal appears to have a chunk missing from one of his pectoral fins. I'll try to get a picture, but he's so small it's hard to really see it. He is eating well, doesn't seem to be affecting his swimming much yet. I still do a 5g water change on their 20g tank every 24-48 hrs. I have seen minor instances of aggression between the two, but nothing more than warning nips. Wondering if I'm looking at fin rot here or if my guys are just fighting when I'm not around?
Please let me know if any other information is needed. Thank you!
Yeah I figured that was the best course of action, so I went out and bought a divider. It's a flimsy piece of crap for $20 but it should do the job for the time being. Also bought a sample of stress coat. Would it be better to use that instead of my regular clarifier for my next water change? Going to take a pic nowPost a pic.
