Worst Customer Service

I can honestly say, I've never had an issue with customer service at walmart.

I've never really needed someone to help me though, other than doing a returns, or just at the checkout register. even when buying goldfish they were good. under qualified but they were still good.

Then how can you rate them? You need to experience hands on customer service to rate it. Self help doesn't count

I will also dock a company's customer service if I disagree with your companies policies....such as walmarts refusal to take back unused still packaged seasonal merchandise after the holiday has passed. No where is that listed in their return policy

isn't the checkout, returns and someone packing my fish all forms of customer service?

I've also had numerous times where I asked where something can be found and was helped with no issues

yes, I have, lol. gold fish for when I had my snapping turtle. but that was years and years ago. I have bought fish there for my daughter in the past too.

i don't wanna support it, but at the same time it's a good rescue. also it wasn't planned. was there for something else and my daughter sees something and must have it

I rarely see anyone in aquatic and often see people waiting/looking for help

I don't consider doing the bare minimum cashiering "good customer service". Gotta smile, be personable, attempt to strike up a conversation and have some basic knowledge of the product. I find people who look like they're just trying to get through the day, sure they're present but they have no presence unless its physical attraction. No attempt to strike up convos, avoiding eye contact, poor body language etc etc.

I will say the presence on the floor when you can find someone is better then the zombies up front checking you out

yea, i can see that too. but i'm not the kind of person that expects to be treated like royalty when i'm at a store or restaurant. when they are checking out my things, i just need them to do just that. ring me up so i can be on my way. but that's just me

no one is there at the aquatic section full time. usually someone is kind of assigned to the aquatic and pet area along with another section. you have to ask someone to get someone there to help you.

which ime, they were usually pretty prompt. one time i asked for like 20 gold fish and the person didn't even bother counting. they just scooped up like 50 of them and said, "that's about right, right?" i was like yea, cool

I don't expect it but I can't give you extra credit when the guy who pumps my gas interacts for 5 seconds and is more pleasant

Walmart is just average service at best. Since its so average, we're unforgiving of the true bad experiences

I think Walmart has great costumer service. I bought a playstation which came with two DVDs which I didn't want. The casher told me after I pay for it go to customer service and return the DVDs. I went to return them and got cash back. This was when DVDs were about $25 dollars each.
