Wow man, I feel really bad for ya.. Keep us updated and let me know if you catch them. I honestly don't know what I would do if my tanks were smashed.. deeep depression sounds right. Im glad your going to continue the hobby! Stay strong!
Good lord!! I feel most of your pain bud, as I was victim to theft and break in as well except it was in my 1988 Mazda Rx7. You feel as violated as a rapped girl when this happends.

I chased a guy once trying to break into my car again. I am out for pure red blood when stuff like this happends. Drop the guys off a cliff into the river only to wash ashore with no head!
Well I hope you bounce back from this, it will be hard but in the end its a new beginning for something.

Its doesnt make sense at all.... why brake the tanks? A**holes! I mean they stole stuf and brake the tanks? that sound personal to me. When my mum got broken into when I was a kid they left her tank and dog alone just stole some jewelry and left again.
Some punk kids also broke into her garden once and messed up some plants, again the 1000 gallon koi pond was untouched.
sound like you have some one who holds a grudge and they stole stuff to make it look like a robbery and just wanted to break your tanks and make you mad.

Just wanted to giv an update! The police told me today they caught someone with a bunch of peoples stuff and a positive ID on my nikon D90 by serial numbers but not much else. The cops said he done this stuff before and he tries to sell the stuff for drugs, I guess he is strung out on meth. Even with the cops catching him that still doesent bring my tanks and fish back 
and I still can not have the camera back untill after the trial they say that it has to be used for evidence. WTF: this A**HOLE gets a trial what a bunch of 
). If it was up to me I would put him in a small room with everyone he has stolen from for about 30 min and say go at it!!!! The reason he smashed the tanks???????? I still have no clue. Mabey he was druged out or something? If they let me in the court room I may end up in jail myself for assault, because im gonna beat this guys @$$ if I see him.
