What's your all time worst fishkeeping disaster?

Mine isnt really that bad and it goes back to my first 29g.
I had already kept most common LFS fish like tetras, mollys and barbs so i decided to try africans. I picked ones i thought were pretty and threw them all in a pretty bare 29g. My mistake was buying an "orange pike cichlid" it was pretty like the africans so i bought it up and threw it in. Got up the next morning and ran to the tank to see my fish! that fish not fishes! the pike ate every last fish in that tank overnight.
Since then i research every new fish BEFORE i buy.

Another was recently when i was doing a waterchange and got distracted with Shrek the Third and before i knew it i had 2" of water in my 150. My first 98% water change!

larger tanks seams breaking, spilling water everywhere.

oh man...mine would have to be way back in the day before I knew anything about fish (I was maybe 9 then) bought two small albino channel cats that I didn't know at the time to be such, and mixed in with mollies, guppies, platys, swordtails, etc.
At first I thought those fish were somehow managing to jump out, although I couldn't find the bodies anywhere, obviously that was not the case.

my worst was not a disaster at all, it was actually quite funny. I was trying to figure out how to move my silver arowana from a 20g to a 75g and I did not want to net him cause he was just way too fast. I decided to take about half the water out and then push a large bucket down in the water behind him so it ould just suck him into the bucket. The second the suction started he jumped a good three jeet out of the land and onto the floor, after a quick scramble he was in the bucket and perfectly fine!

Ok, so if 2" of tank height equals 2% of 150G, then your tank must be 100" high?

my worst nightmare in fishkeeping happened sept 2007.. :(

holy crap, your lucky something didnt happen with the electricity and the water...what did that incident to to the floors?
