had 1 lung removed, several ribs, a few arteries repaired and my shoulder blade put back together. a month in the hospital. 13 yrs ago and still hurts. never had my broken noses reset. why do it? cosmetic reasons?

I herniated and cracked 3 vertebrae in my neck at C4,5, and 6. Had cervical discectomy and fusion done while adding 3 metal plates(spacers) and 6 screws to keep my vertebrae from being able to touch. It was a head on collision with a car while I was on a motorcycle that did it and I have permanent nerve damage through my left arm and hand. Can no longer open my hand all the way and it sucks sometimes but the pain before the surgery and attempts to correct without surgery were much worse. Also had 2 orthroscopic knee surgeries from sports but they werent bad

16 stitches on my eye lids... Had a broken wrist, leg, knuckle and toe... All happen at different times... i play rugby and also teach martial arts... have a broken nose... did not fix it till this day... n not planning to... waste of time...
Had a wire from one of those powered wheel paint stripper go in my eye. Stupid me no safety glasses. The most pain was the pain killer- a shot in the rump. That shot hurt for a week. The eye still gives me an occasional dull pain. Not bad but noticeble. That was 2yrs. ago.
