Worst tank you've ever seen

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lol their have been alot of not so fish friendly neighbors...
but my neighbors has a 30 gal 2 dragonfish from walmart 2 oscars and 2 plecs, no heater no filter and the waters pinkish red from massively over feeding them colored flakes

I see some tanks on here that i dont really see why they are so bad.

the pbass feeding was definitely overstocked and looked like it could use some attention and a big fish sale

however that african tank with the gt in it was very well taken care of.

wasnt to majorly overstocked and you have no idea what kind of filtration he has that tank could be hooked up to other tanks and a larger loop system type filter which would allow him to be able to add a couple extra fish with no added risk of problems from water quality.

imo alot of people on here take the over stocking rule much to seriously.

im not saying people dont take it too lightly but i was told by 1 kid that 2 gt's was more then enough for a 90 gallon anything else was overstocking...

imo that is a bit un realistic.

just my .02 though i guess.

worst tank ever btw

not over stocked but they had like 2 fish left alive when i emptied it.

salt water tank

for some reason there was a living pleco in there which died almost immediatley after being taken to the lfs and some purple saltwater fish that was not able to be saved because when we dumped the tank outside he was hiding in an ornament and wasnt found until later :(

there was no real way to save anything from the tank other then the bones from past fish which were plentiful

I saw a 10g tank filled with algae and a neon tetra that i thought was dead

just saw this today. It's a huge flowerhorn (I think) that was in about 10" of water and in some places his head would stick out of the water because he is so big. I'm guessing this is like a 30gal tank. I feel so bad for him. Probably the worst store I have ever seen. All the tanks are no more than 1/2 full crammed full of fish. I wish i had a video camera to walk around and show you guys!

My god dude that's horrible...

Today, I saw a tank with a 1' RTC, 1' Oscar, and half a midas that was completely shredded. I pointed it out to the employee and he said "holy crap that wasn't there 10 minutes ago" and took it out of th tank, I don't really blame him

my fav lfs did the same thing yesterday there was a couple of tinny tsn in with a good sized pike ciclid and went back today and the pike had been moved

Yeah that flowerhorn tankis really bad.

At my lfs there is a maybe 200gal or 150 gal 7 foot tank with a 3 foot nurse shark in it that can hardly turn around. If just sit there ans moves it's tail every now and the . It's sad.

My LFS actually has good tanks for their sharks.

10,000g for their blacktip reefshark (It's very small right now), and a big one, not sure on the exact gallonage, with 3 smoothound sharks.
