Would like few opinions from fellow ATF enthusiasts.

Again, I suspect ATF, BUT could have been them damn wolves......

There's NO dithers now. Just a huge Clown Knife, 2 Tatf, 3 Iguaza/Mbigua, and an Aimara.

One things sure, I either need some big dithers fast, more tanks, or less fish.....

At the size it is...... Who has one?

Comparing to a Curu isn't apples to apples at all, Curu are LFS fish, very readily available and easily replaced.

I wasn't comparing a curu to your atf, I was making an example to show how poor the fish market is here. And while they are a "LFS fish" and readily available there they aren't here again because of the market.

When mine was taking shots at the hooks and tiger sd it took chunks out of fins but never a side gash that I recall. I'd guess the wolves had a hand in it. How's everyone doing after removing the masheer?

I saw a video awhile ago, where someone had some massive Widebars in with their school of ATFs. I dont know how easily youd be able to find some, but it seemed to work okay for his predator comm.

Just a question and thought:

Those keeping aggressive fishes that fight and injure others (dithers or main); do we need to constantly keep the tank under some sort of medication (Melafix?) or salt to ensure the fishes inside have some sort of continuous healing process?

I say no, clean water and salt is cure to all wounds I would think

Not sure if its mela or pima but one screws with moving beds..... Won't be using any here.

I'd probably use salt and heat if needed but clean water seems to be all they typically need. Stuff heals pretty quick here.....

Major issue is to get fish moved out quick enough as it seems the wolves do tend to hunt together, so once a fish gets picked on it doesn't take long for them to off it.

So far so good without dithers..... No woulds yet.

The moved Masheer seems to be doing well and enjoying a Tatf free environment.

Reactions: Red Aimara
I tried tarpons when I still had Max. He systematically cut them to pieces.

How bout Gar? Think hey have strong enough armor to withstand attempted gashings?

Gar may be tough enough but they are pretty "low key" fish for dithers.
