what is with you and about people showing the fry parent's picture? let me ask you something .will you buy fry from some random parents with out seeing their picture?.well maybe you will but am sure other people will want to see the parents.and people dont show the parent's pic becasue they are showing off the parent of fry but they want to make sure that the customer are buying the right quality !.

I agree with you 100%, even with the best parents there will only be a few masterpieces in a brood, pimping out pictures of the parents will only fool the new people in the hobby.

You see that a lot though, and people really fall for it.

If you want to buy nice fish, you have to wait a little while to see how they are going to mature, do not buy fry.

This is not always the case. Sometimes you take 2 fish that are ugly and you get high amount of MP. Its all in the genes they carry. If you are running a specific breeding program you will have much higher chance for fish with the same qualities as the parents. The more you inbreed the higher chance to get more high qual's.
