Would you consider these fish "rare"?

Here's his reply to me telling him he's wrong and asking where his LFS is:

"our sure doing a lot of talking to someone who can't admit they are wrong. Get out of your little box and look around. I'd tell you where I got my bass, but your not talking to someone who can't admit they are wrong. Ta ta junior. Dumb ass..."

Lol, I give up on this guy. Still want to know where that shop is though !

adjective: rare; comparative adjective: rarer; superlative adjective: rarest
(of an event, situation, or condition) not occurring very often.
"a rare genetic disorder"
synonyms: infrequent, scarce, sparse, few and far between, thin on the ground, like gold dust, as scarce as hen's teeth; More
antonyms: common, frequent
(of a thing) not found in large numbers and consequently of interest or value.
"the jellyfish tree, one of the rarest plants on earth"
synonyms: unusual, recherché, uncommon, unfamiliar, atypical, singular
"rare stamps"

unusually good or remarkable.
"he plays with rare strength and sensitivity"
synonyms: exceptional, outstanding, unparalleled, peerless, matchless, unique, unrivaled, inimitable, beyond compare, without equal, second to none, unsurpassed; More

Going by this, I would say that at least half of the fish on that list can be considered rare.

wont or cant? I bet if a shop could get a fish for you, they would. money is money.
Lol it sure is....I remember back when we had decent shops here in Philly very few of them would go the extra effort to try to get a requested fish. They would say something like,"I can only get what is on my list"..Most of them pretty much deal with the same suppliers but it comes down to which of them want to put in the extra time to make a little extra money...One shop that has remained open here actually does take soecial order requests.

wow...man if I owned a shop I would beat down doors to get a customer a 3-4 figure priced fish lol.

the one shop here is run by some shady folk, I bet they could get me a unicorn if I asked. I don't trust them though so I rarely ask for more than what they have visible in the tanks

If you're going to spend a few hundred bucks on a fish, you should probably know a bit of where it's coming from. Good call

So would I and that sort of laziness is probably why so many shops have shut down here.
