Would you enter your ray in your state fair?

have a mature internal filter you can plug in and make sure the stand has elec

you should be ok

I was thinking of doing just her in a 75 or 90 gallon with a mature FX5. Electricity is provided. Tops would be on the tank and no one else will have access to the fish unless I say they can.

I really do think the benefits of such a massive exposure to a rare hobby (afterall MFKing isnt that widespread) would be great. I have moved four times with my last ray around the city and he was fine...

The idea of showing off a pet, without all the traffic in my house would be great! You say you've moved them before..sounds like you know what you are doing. I can only wish for a ray or two. If I had one....Anyway, I would LOAN you my decal if you went.

Hmm...

Well Im definately going to submit some fish in the native category, they have about a dozen different categories, so that may just do it for my "fair fix." I dont know. If I was a betting man I would gamble she would be fine, but yes Id be devastated if something happened.

This weekend is the big fish auction for my local fish club. I will talk to the fellas there that have more experience with the fair and see what they have to say.

There is no glory without risk. If you try and win you will be on everyones lips next year. If you fail you will still be on everyones lips. Plus you can put the ribbon on your tank and bask in the glory that is your fish.

In all honesty it wouldnt be for the "glory" or anything like that. I just would like to expose a ton of people to MFK and rays. This fair is huge. The free concerts include acts like Montgomery Gentry, Kenney Chesney, Nappy Roots, ect so ten-thousand people could be an under-estimate!

Would be an experience for sure!
