Would you enter your ray in your state fair?

I wouldn't, I have seen first hand what happens at fairs behind close doors (in my part of the country anyways) All the cow/horse/etc people usually spend the night, and there's ALOT of drinking that occurs. I can just see some of them drunk and stupid enough to mess with the rays when no one is there.

Great point. Fortunately the livestock show is in a different part of the fair about a half mile away (told you it was big).

The fish are in a wing that mainly shows art, beer (no sampling :( ), wine, and food.
 
If you ever have to leave it unattended no way would I enter it. Maybe thats why they only entered a retic ray last time. I would have to be with her all day and night or no way, would I take the chance.
 
I dont think I am, this year at least. I will talk to the fellas at the local fish club Sunday and unless they convince me it is totally safe I will pass.

Perhaps when/if I have pups I could enter a pup and that could be really good for buisiness! ;)
 
If you pass this year it will give you a chance to check the scene out, talk to the other people showing fish and give you a year to plan it all out.

I usually only see farm live stock for show at fairs; cows, horses, chickens, etc.
