Would you have your beloved pet taxidermied??

LOL@ the one guy.....big burly biker dude who brought in his departed pooch to be stuffed.When he came back to pick it up and saw the finished result,he just losses it and starts bawling waterfalls down his face...."The eyes are supposed to be closed!"
i would never do it.. i don't even care to see mounted deer.... or other wild animals displayed this way..maybe at a zoo.. or a place to learn about different animals.. museum .. but not in a home atmosphere..
I'd do it to fish and reptiles with no problem. This subject always makes me think of rowdy the dog from scrubs
Most taxidermists refuse to do pets for various reasons. I don't see the need to get furry pets preserved; however, I have had a tendency of retaining deceased fishes and some reptiles for preservation in alcohol.
So you missed where the owner's thirteen year old son brought home a roadkill pig and butchered it for dinner......
