Would you pay for a "Premium Membership" here on MFK?

Having said all of this, I would not mind donating towards this site. MFK has always been a wealth of knowledge for fish keepers. Love this site, its members and the fact that it's such a well rounded site too.

IF YOU CHOOSE to be one of the member who WOULD like to help SUPPORT MFK, they remove the adds.
Read it through. This is NOT being forced on anyone. and I agree, nor should it. THIS IS just an option. Free, and deal with adds, where ever they may be... and whatever else.. OR SUPPORTER and having the benefit of no adds, and whatever else offered.
If the ads were removed from the pages of "Premium Members" who pay to avoid them , that would take from MFK's appeal to advertisers. It's all about ad impressions for ALL MFK members. The site's appeal includes numbers of membership. If members want to make a charitable donation, you can't allow them to opt out on viewing ads. Membership eyes on ads is what encourages advertisers to buy ad space on the site.
Not at all, just suggesting that you lighten up that is all. Because I've noticed everything you post has an underlying bitter theme to it.
