it seems ok. the only strnage behavior is he sits over in the corner and trys to burryhimself under a rock and occasionly berings his head to the surface to breate. ps what should i do about a baby razorback musk that wont eat?

That is normal for them to find a spot they like an just chill there all day, mine has 2-3 spots he likes to hut/relax at... they just arent big on swiming, thats all.

And about your musk... if it cant get to the sticks fast enough you might wanna put him in his own tank to eat... or maybe get another tank set up.

Ten turtles in one tank is kinda pushing it. Probably why your ATS got an eye infection... turtles crap alot :D

i dont know if its an infection. looks more like a small wound. and i am VERY VERY glad to know that his behavior IS normal.

iguess i will have to. thats the only way i will be left alone about it.

How long did you really think that you would be able to house them like that?

I personally do not care what you do. They are your turtles. But if/when they die or get sicker and you come here and people say I told you so dont be surprised.

I personally would love to have a snapper or two but have enough common sense to know I can house them comfortable for life so I have not got them. Same with soft shells they get mighty large.

10 turtles are going to need lots and lost of space. I personally would consider getting rid of a few of them ( 8 or 9)

again, i will do what i have to do. i will get another tank. i did not realize that he was not being cared fro properly. and i will not get rid of my little turtles. those guys are the most important things in the world to me. and i will do what it takes to make sure they are happy.

Again.... Get more than one tank.. You will need it.

Might I ask how old you are?

I had a real long post/rant talking about maturity and how you have to realistically think about caring for your herps for life. But, I'll save you the trouble of reading and be blunt. I just turned 17 so I can relate. Sure, I would love to keep a ton of herps. But, I know between school, sports, and my social life. I wouldn't give them the time they deserve. So I just pace myself and just care for my crested and future tegu, until later in life when I'll be able to care for them adequately.

You should focus on the turts you already have, put off getting an anaconda till your a stable adult and be able to realistically care for it.

Well I suppose that was still somewhat long, but its a 1/3 of it's original length.

And out of curiosity how do you tell your turts are happy? I imagine the one with the cut is pretty upset, especially being kept in such a small place with a lot of other turtles.

just so you know, i dont play sports and i have NO social life.
and soon your not gunna have any living turtles. idk why i even look at your posts. i cant believe you would keep ten turtles in a 30 gallon. youd need a 20 gallon sump just to keep it clean.

and the reason were on you is because we care about the animal. i couldnt care less about your self esteem or whatever. care for your animals or give them to someone who can.
