Well the fact is that they dont like the kind of heat a bearded dragon needs and they need moist almost like a normal ornate. Even this guys spend the more hot periods hidding in burrows and they only come out in raining periods, during the nigth and on coolers periods. They simply dont expose themselfes to the same desert sun bearded dragons need to survive. That turtle will simply endup with ear abseses or swollen eyes to lack of moist.
