  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How much did that little guy cost you at petco?.... I remember seeing other posts where people have bought ebjd's there also. How can I get my store to carry them.?...or does it just vary by region and I'm S.O.L.:(

The clowns are great! I started with one, but added 2 more and they are so happy together! They're fun fish - I'd get 10 if I had the room for them.

One of the clowns cracks me up - he keeps landing on the ebjd and just sits on him, like he's tired and wants a piggyback ride. I swear I can see the ebjd roll his eyes before shaking him off, lol.

This is exactly why I love my Clown Loaches, they're the silliest fish I've ever kept. Mine are like 4 little dogs buzzing around my tank. It's even funnier to watch them take food from my Convicts lol.

To the OP, small EBJD's are a lot of work, but they're very worth it. Here is a picture of mine, he's around the 7" mark;

i hate those let me google that for you things lol

and wow your ebjd is beautiful!!!!!

and i got him for like $15 i think, idk i bought him with a whole bunch of other goodies lol

Knowing who posted it, my guess is it was just in good fun lol

Thanks, I have 3 fish that are my favorites of my Cichlids. Male EBJD, male Blue Gene Jack Dempsey and my little Festae that I have growing out.

Nice price on him, I got mine at 4-4.5"s for 35. But he was worth it to me. I had 2 small ones that died, 1 from disease and the other got killed.

Just be sure to keep the water clean and feed it well and you shouldn't have any issues. Is it with tank mates?

and yea he's alone and only about 2" at the most. cant wait to feed him tomorrow lol. i really like feeding my oscars, so hopefully it kinda the same lol

It may take some time as they're kind of timid when small, usually. Yours may be different though.
