your tuition for piano must be very hefty for you to be able to afford 3 big tanks expensive fish, and all the smaller tanks you have. Lucky you.

Let me see...I make six figure income and my wife still will not allow more than one fish tank...so consider yourself lucky 
Dude at least your parents let you have all that stuff. My parents let me have a lot of pets, and yeah they complain about mice in the freezer and fish water spilled into the rug, but I know they deal with it and let me have all this awesome stuff, so I just grit my teeth and bear it. Some of my friends cant even have a single animal. I'm fortunate, and so are you if your parents are that accomodating. It's probably a PITA to have huge tanks and water spilled (dont lie, you know you spill water when you do WC's 
) but they tolerate it.

I'll turn 18 in 19 days, but ya, I guess I am kinda lucky. I was just pretty upset at her insulting my new fish when I posted this thread. And no, for a piano teacher I'm pretty cheap at $10 a half-hour. As for water spilt, I use a siphon hose right out the window and under the deck (the saltwater makes an especially great weed killer/ice remover lol.) Also, our entire basement floor is tile, so water spilt is really no big deal. Thank God they also pay for animal food, the electric bill which is around $450 in the winter since my mom collects Christmas ornaments (she has 17 christmas trees decked out with polish ornaments and themed, none of them shorter than 7 foot), and the salt for the marine aquariums. Also we have a well, so basically free water changes for me!
