No it was not weighed with a scale but I have never caught a bass this large until today. It was huge!
at least you admit it lol
your biggest fish always seems like a monster cus its the biggest you have seen
then a true fish story makes it sound bigger :D
not saying your catch wasnt that big but us that caught bass we knew were that big are proud lol :D
i always have a measuring tape and camera when i go fishing :)

check out my big bass in the link below,my past catches
it was over 6lbs on scale and 24" long
also,im not that small,im 5' 10" and around 190lbs for comparison :D
so was yours bigger then that or smaller :)
not a contest just trying to figure your catches size :)

We used to go water skiing on the Trinity river in Texas and there would be HUGE gar rolling on the surface usually when you were in the water waiting for a pull. These were truly massive, many of which had to be greater than 5 foot. I am not kidding! Sometimes I thought about what it would be like to ride one, or to be bitten they were so close. Recently there was a show on Discovery or NatGeo about monster fish and when they were going after alligator gar it was on the Trinity river.
