Yes, made no sense. I hope to get at least a partial refund because that was BS. It wasn't Tong's fish, it was some other guy, Tong was just the middle man.

that's totally screwed up! for the $$$ i wouldn't like it dying on me in 24hrs 
. i would not blame the source if it died on me after a week. but i can't comment on anything else beside... be careful next time... make sure the fish looks healthy and not stressed out... come to think of it how can we know if the fish is stressed out? specially AFT can't see the difference.if there breathing hard if when there swiming there whole body moves not just the tail. other things to look for are. cloudy eyes, look at the fins, and have them feed the fish in front of u so u know its eating, these are just some
Just remember ATF's look fierce but they are really sensative when smaller than 7+" or so.
Remember these guys are wild caught and the possibilty of them comming in w/parasites are very high. It's alyways good to have them in a seperate tank to acclimate properly. They are prone to ph shock as well at such a small size. They are very sensative. Provide very clean water and a highly oxygenated tank.

can u put ur atf in ur will so i can have them soeday when u get old lol. i just cant get over ur setupactually kimchi wasnt the one that sold u the vittatus. it was someone else. kimchi is tlkn bout the forskalli atf. the vittatus is someone else. just clearing it up

the tankmates had nothing to do with the death. jardini, 2 payara (sold now) and a senegal bichir.
