well apparently it was doing fine for a week in tong's tank, and it died in urs..IMO, u shouldve acclimate the ATF better

It wasn't in tongs tank for a week, it was there for like 2 hours. It got switched from its original tank, to tongs to mine. I say thats too much in a matter of 5 hours. I acclimated him fine.

sorry man how much did u spend, i spen 50 bucks on a atf and it died 3 days latter. they are not that hardy at this young age

Here's what I dont get...There was a mutual understanding that the fish had only been in Tong's tank for a few hours. So why risk it? Wait a day or two and then pick it up. It could have been acting weird with the previous owner and he gave it to Tong to sell it.
