Any info anyone would want to share about these little buggers. I know size will get pretty big i guess 18 inches. And does anyone own one of these catfish? I might go to the store to pick one up today.

I think there max size is 17". I got 3 of them and they're beast. They go crazy on any type of food I throw in. 1 is about 3" and the other 2 are around 5"-6" and fat. You need some caves if you get some cause they are kind of shy.
 
I own 3 and they are super cool. But yes, a little shy.

Ya i think the 18" fish refers to wild specimens. 12" seems to be the max for home aquariums.

Haha cool I was going to ask the petstore to feed them pellets and see which one goes for em so I don't need to wean them into it. Any pics?

Get at least three. If you only get one it will be extremely shy and mine wouldn't come out unless it was almost completely dark. They grow fast initially and slow down at around 5". Mine died recently from a sore on his side but he was about 6.5". His diet mostly consisted of shrimp pellets but I added in some shrimp and bloodworms a few times a week. A school of 4 would look awesome and if you can't afford 3-4 at least get two so they will have a buddy.
