there's only one fw turtle that looks like a sea turtle....i've heard they go for around $500+ in cali

You're looking for FRT I think... which aren't permitted for sale on this board due to restrictions. You're best chance is to find someone being lucky selling one at the right place/right time.

Pending what your ideal turtle is. Chinese softshell turtle might be a good alternative. Non-Albino version would be alot cheaper but not same as FRT..

Fly River Turtle.. Not fully illegal. Just can't buy/sell them on this board.
