I can't name every nation in OPEC, but Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela are far from nations led by freedom loving, democratically elected governments.

wait, I'm gonna stop there. I can't name all the nations in OPEC off hand, so I'm not really qualified to comment on the similarities these nations share.

you forget one thing.............most places over seas dont have taxes.

There is only one way to avoid taxes, be in no country longer than six months a year, and then u still have to pay it in each country u visit and claim it back at the end of the year, from each respective governments.... (i think thats right at least...)

Gas/Petrol prices in the UK are about £1.15 per litre. I think that it works out at over $5 per gallon. If we had US prices in the UK, we would be paying about 60 pence per litre. I can dream.

or you could switch to lpg swear i saw a lpg pump say 59p per litre... it got me thinking!

You guys make fun of me for Rollerblading everywhere, but now its my turn to laugh!!! Seriously though, gas prices are retarded to no end. More people need to find ways to get around that aren't so dependant on gas. . . .

CNG costs from .89 to 2.40 per gallon (gge-gassoline gallon equivalent) depending on your location. There is a down side of course, and that is the start up cost. A home based refueling station will cost ten grand and up, and a CNG bi-fuel conversion for your car runs about four grand.
