That actually makes them a pretty good pet.You won't have to put up them funking up your home with their urine and excrement and the chore of cage cleaning as it would live outside and likely nearby. All you would need to do is place food for it outside and observe when it shows up to feed.
That is true, too. Which makes them easy too.

Yep,lots of options if you have a decent sized backyard and live in a somewhat rural area. You could even place den box up in one of your trees.

We had Tiger cubs in our house quite often when we had our zoo. They wouldn't crap in the house but do form small lakes when they pee. The funny thing was they would get this stupid look on their face that made you laugh. They just looked so peaceful then oh wow he's making a lake on the floor. Another bonus was they were great at keeping door to door salesmen away. That is probably the thing I miss most about having a zoo having baby animals in the house. We even had a tame Badger with 2 little Skunks and 2 Raccoons. They would all fight over who got to sit on you.
However most wild animals do not make good pets. Things start to go south with most of them when they reach sexual maturity and become agressive. Now do I think all wild animals should be left in the wild no. Lets face it captivity is the only way some species will survive. Our hobby is a prime example.
One side note in the photos Warborg shared those dogs were probably the bosses. Our very first Tiger was afraid of pug dogs until the day he died. We had a female lion that would cry if her dog friend got out of the cage. If these animals grow up together you can have some really strange friends.

Just heard that a tiger was on the loose in Atlanta Georgia. It attacked someone's dog before police arrived and terminated it.

I'll stick to fish tanks. Heehee. You do hear stories of these animals bonding outside of species, if imprinted early enough.
