Wtf Jags are illegal?

but then this question arises, if you classify it under Parachromis, not Cichlasoma, are would they then NOT be illegal?

This is on the restricted species list, but this is not a Jag cichlid. They are not illegal.

yea, thats a Jag. They are classified different in different states for some reason.

I doubt the scientific reclassification of the fish would give you a leg to stand on. Both names are representative of the same fish and a fact that would be easily proven in court.
